This project explores the rich cultural and historical legacy of Freedmen’s Town, a historically Black neighborhood in Houston’s Fourth Ward. Designed for educational engagement, the project consists of a vibrant booklet and a hands-on activity kit that introduces visitors—especially younger audiences—to the district’s key landmarks, stories, and symbols.
